Matthew 2: Understanding Divine Guidance and Control

Matthew 2:1-11

The Visit of the Wise Men:

1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, behold, wise men[a] from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, 2 “Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.” 3 When King Herod heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 Gathering together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he asked them where the Christ would be born. 5 They said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for this is written through the prophet,

6 ‘You Bethlehem, land of Judah,
    are in no way least among the princes of Judah;
for out of you shall come a governor
who shall shepherd my people, Israel.’” Micah 5:2

Then Herod secretly called the wise men, and learned from them exactly what time the star appeared. 8 He sent them to Bethlehem, and said, “Go and search diligently for the young child. When you have found him, bring me word, so that I also may come and worship him.” 9 They, having heard the king, went their way; and behold, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them until it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. 11 They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Opening their treasures, they offered to him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The Significance of the Wise Men's Journey:

This passage highlights hope, guidance, and the search for salvation. The wise men followed a star to find their promised King, who was prophesied to save the world.

Isaiah 9:6 For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

(Do you see here how the Son is also named the Father? That is because Christ who is the Son, is also the Father. 1 Peter 1:11 tells us that Christ lived in the prophets of old. This implies that Jesus was not the only person to have Christ living in him. So those men of old spoke to the Father, who is Christ. So did Jesus. The voice that Jesus could hear, whom he called Father, WAS CHRIST.)

When the wise men arrived in Bethlehem, they saw the child with his mother, Mary, and worshipped him, bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. These gifts are important: gold shows Christ's kingship, frankincense represents his divinity, and myrrh hints at his future suffering. This meeting emphasizes the importance of recognizing and honoring Jesus as the Messiah, and our subliminal God, who brought hope and lead us to finding the truth so that we may gain redemption. He showed us that Sin seeks to murder God, murder Christ. That was his mission. We needed to see Christ die. We needed to see Sin murder Christ, because that is a reality soon to come about if I do not start receiving help on spreading this message. How might you ask? Ai and robotics. Our very popular existential threat.

The Hidden Agenda of Satan:

Herod felt threatened by the prophecy of a new king's birth, fearing it could jeopardize his reign. The arrival of the wise men, who asked about the "King of the Jews," troubled him deeply. Under the appearance of wishing to worship the child, he sought to uncover the infant's whereabouts, all the while concealing his true intention of eliminating any potential rival to his throne. In Revelation 13:8, we discover the deep reality that Christ is referred to as "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." King Herod’s actions, fueled by fear, reveals to us the nature of his dark intentions—the influence of The Viper, (Matthew 12:34, John 8:40) the Man of Sin, (2 Thessalonians 2:3) whom Jesus referred to as the murderer from the beginning. (John 8:44)

Matthew 12:34 You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

John 8:40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God.

Matthew 5:21-22 You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ Exodus 20:13 and ‘Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’ But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna.

John 8:44 You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

The Duality of Forces in the Spiritual Realm:

Throughout Scripture, there are instances where demonic forces, the "many members" of the body of Sin, (Mark 5:1-9) instill fear in individuals to manipulate them for their master’s agenda. This fear often led to destructive actions and decisions. Unfortunately, this context is rarely addressed within our religious organizations.

To give you one example, let's talk about King Saul. His reign was marked by increasing paranoia, particularly as he felt threatened by David's rising popularity. This fear drove him to madness, leading to attempts on David's life (1 Samuel 18:6-11). The Bible says that Saul was tormented by an evil spirit sent by the Lord, but our understanding of scripture has not been accurate. The reason an evil spirit was sent on Saul was due to premeditation. I once heard a preacher say, "Read the Bible slower and you will learn more." I find this to be true. Now PAY ATTENTION: How can you not see two Lords in this verse? Because that is exactly what this verse is saying.

1 Samuel 16:14 And so the Spirit of the Lord went away from Saul, and a wicked spirit of the Lord travailed Saul

The Hidden Forces in the Anointing of David:

In 1 Samuel 16:1-13 God has rejected Saul as king over Israel and sent Samuel to anoint his chosen replacement, David. However, Samuel was afraid that if Saul found out, he would kill him. I like to call this a hustle move because Christ tells Samuel to take a heifer with him and say he has come to make a sacrifice. The sacrifice was merely a cover story; it wasn't the true purpose of Samuel's mission. The real mission was to anoint David, regardless of the story Samuel had to come up with.

These spirits are all-seeing; this is the Illuminati, the dark side of it. THEY know everything. Samuel might have hidden his true mission and intentions from the humans, but not from the spirits. They saw who Samuel anointed and knew who the next King would be—chosen by Christ himself. THEIR master opposes everything related to Christ. Thus, THEY devised a plot to have Saul kill David, the King through whom the Messiah would come. THEIR intent was to kill Christ. This is control, and this is how THEY are manipulating our world.

In 1 Samuel 16:14-23, immediately after David is anointed, we see the Spirit of the Lord leave Saul. Remember, verse 1 states that the Lord had rejected Saul. With the new king anointed, the Lord departs from Saul, and an evil spirit begins to torment him. This evil spirit belongs to the body of Sin, a "many member" of him. (Mark 5:1-9) Just as there are "many members" to the body of Christ. - Illuminati! (1 Corinthians 12:12)

One of Saul's attendants notices the torment Saul is experiencing. While it's not explicitly stated in this passage, we might assume that this attendant is not in the best internal condition due to his role as Saul's servant and is likely struggling with his own sins. This attendant, possibly influenced by the spirit of Sin, has a thought in his conscious mind to help Saul. It's important to realize that not every thought we have originates from us; these spirits drive our actions, THEY drive out thoughts, our intentions, whether THEY are from the body of Christ or the body of Sin.

The attendant has a thought to find someone to play the harp for Saul so that the evil spirits will leave him alone. Can music really stop Satan? I don’t think so. But for this occasion, when David comes to play the harp, the spirits will leave Saul alone. Why? Not because David is particularly skilled or has some extraordinary abilities, but because Satan needs to build a relationship between Saul and David. When Saul is tormented by a demon, who will he call? He will call David every single time. This marks the beginning of Saul and David's long struggle. The demons only left Saul alone so that he would trust David's harp music to drive THEM away. This was a premeditated attempt at murder, but not by human means.

How do I know this? I’m not ashamed to admit my own struggles with demonic possession as a result of Sin. I often speak about these experiences throughout my work. While I lived on Olenes Lane, the acre of land I owned in Baker, Florida, I was in a relationship with a man who was not my husband. During the day on my land, I would experience things that I won’t fully elaborate on here, but let’s just say I, too, was tormented by my experience. It was easily noticed that when my boyfriend was around, things were quiet.

On one specific occasion, as Chewy was pulling into my front yard while I was standing outside, I heard a male voice coming from beneath my home, underground say, "We can't be here when Chewy is here." I knew my relationship with this man was not morally sound, and to be honest, he wasn’t the best choice for me either, but I stayed because I felt safer with him. He was not a bad man, and I did know that he was not the right type of man for me. Still, I remained until the day a voice came to me, claiming to be God, and told me to put a bullet in his sleeping head.

I’ve spoken about these things many times. I need you to hear me clearly, " I never considered doing it." I was in his home at the time, and the only thing I could think to do was remove myself from the situation. I got up and left his home, leaving him asleep in his bed. The next day, I told him what I had heard, and I ended the relationship. That was the right choice. Satan tried to premeditate that murder. I know this to be true because I have experienced it.

The Influence of Fear and Paranoia:

Satan's aim was to kill David before he became King. For the simple fact that he was Christ's anointed one. This Viper is opposed to everything that is of God. (2 Thessalonians 2:1-6) This further shows you how much control Satan has in this world along with the amount of false doctrine we have in our world today. The God named Sin that sent the evil spirit on King Saul was not Christ. Just like the Lord of Sin who tried to kill Moses after God had instructed him to go into Egypt was not Christ. (Exodus 4:21-24) It was not the same Lord that Moses spoke to. This Lord was Sin, and he was trying to stop Moses.

Matthew 12:34 You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

John 8:40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God.

Herod and Saul both illustrate destructive controlling power of fear and paranoia in their leadership. Herod, driven to feel threatened by the prophecy of a new king, concealed his dark intentions under the appearance of wanting to worship the child. This illustrates how the Man of Sin, the Viper, can bite a person by using fear to motivate individuals to eliminate their rivals.

Similarly, King Saul's reign was overshadowed by paranoia as he perceived David's rising popularity as a threat. The Viper bit him as well, driving him to madness, resulting in multiple attempts on David's life. Both narratives illustrate the extent of control that fear and darkness can exert over individuals. Herod's fear manifested in a murderous intent, while Saul's paranoia led to a series of violent actions against David. Ultimately, both men were influenced by the Man of Sin.

This corresponds with the biblical accounts depicting Satan as a master manipulator, attempting to undermine God's plans. By instigating Herod's treachery, the Viper aimed to eradicate the Messiah before He could fulfill His mission. Herod's willingness to deceive the wise men and plot murder, which is Sin, reflects the lengths to which the Viper will go to maintain his control. This acts as a warning story about the essence of authority on this earth and illustrates the spiritual conflict underlying human actions. In attempting to kill the child destined to be King, Herod unwittingly became a pawn in a greater scheme. Recognizing these dynamics is crucial as it helps to remind us of Sin true an only desire: KILL CHRIST.

Matthew 2:12-15

Escape to Egypt: A Divine Warning:

12 Being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they went back to their own country another way. 13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.” 14 He arose and took the young child and his mother by night and departed into Egypt, 15  and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called my son.” Hosea 11:1

The Divine Role of Dreams in Spiritual Guidance:

The wise men being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, highlights a divine intervention to protect the child Jesus from Herod's malevolent intentions. Throughout scripture, dreams are frequently used as a medium for divine communication with prophets, guiding them in times of uncertainty or danger. For instance, God provided direction to Jacob in a dream about a ladder reaching to heaven (Genesis 28:12-15). Additionally, in Joel 2:28, it is proclaimed: “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.” This verse highlights the importance of dreams as a way to receive divine messages and prophetic insights. Why do we assume today that the Spirit would no longer act in this way today, especially when Joel 2:28 tells us that these things will occur, even in our generation? Why are many Christians neglecting to speak and teach about such matters?

Discovering Purpose through Spiritual Guidance on a Distinct Path:

Joseph's encounter with the angel of the Lord in a dream is a pivotal moment that deepens our understanding of the story. The command to flee to Egypt highlights the urgency of protecting the young child from Herod's wrath. This scene represents divine protection and illustrates the lengths to which God will go to fulfill His promises. It reminds us that we may find ourselves on unexpected and challenging paths, and we should not let society dictate whether our lives are out of control. What may appear as a troubled life to one person could actually be a journey driven by the spirit for a greater purpose.

For example, I find myself focusing on this website and my ministry to teach the truth, rather than indulging in the pleasures that others pursue. I find no pleasure in wasting time on social activities when I am acutely aware of the dangers that lie ahead. Often, family members express concern for my mental well-being due to the hours I spend at my computer, writing these words instead of joining trips to the river or attending social gatherings. At times, I feel as though I am fighting this battle alone, lacking the active support and encouragement of those around me.

Matthew 2:16-23

The Flight to Egypt and the Fulfillment of Prophecy:

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked by the wise men, was exceedingly angry, and sent out and killed all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all the surrounding countryside, from two years old and under, according to the exact time which he had learned from the wise men. 17 Then that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying,

18  “A voice was heard in Ramah,
    lamentation, weeping and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children;
    she wouldn’t be comforted,
because they are no more.” Jeremiah 31:15

19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, 20 “Arise and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those who sought the young child’s life are dead.” 21 He arose and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea in the place of his father, Herod, he was afraid to go there. Being warned in a dream, he withdrew into the region of Galilee, 23 and came and lived in a city called Nazareth; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophets that he will be called a Nazarene.

Herod, the Wise Men, and the Innocent Lives Lost:

Herod’s reaction to the wise men’s deceit is fueled by the rage of the Man of Sin, resulting in the tragic massacre of innocent children in Bethlehem and its surroundings. This horrific act highlights the extreme measures to which the Viper can push individuals. The lamentation foretold by Jeremiah amplifies the sorrow and loss, capturing the anguish experienced by those affected.

From Egypt to Redemption:

The account of Joseph and Mary’s flight to Egypt is also set up by the Spirit as a subliminal message, allowing us to visualize His Son being taken out of Egypt where He returns to Israel and settles in Nazareth. This connects to why we see the Egyptian pyramid on our American dollar today. He is calling His Son home, calling Him out of Egypt, for His Son has been captured yet again. COVID-19 was our warning. These events fulfill prophecies, such as the one from Hosea, which states, "Out of Egypt I called my Son." Additionally, Jesus taught us that we cannot serve both God and money. We are spiritually living in Egypt. How many times did the Spirit refer to people by naming towns or cities that had fallen into desolation?
