James 1:1: The Distinction Between Jesus and Christ

James 1:1

1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.

James begins his letter by identifying himself as "a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ." Though James was the brother of Jesus, he humbly identifies himself as a servant, which speaks to his sense of devotion and submission to God’s will. He addresses the “twelve tribes scattered among the nations,” referring to Jewish Christians living in dispersion, due to persecution or other trials.

Before we discuss the importance of James's letter and the themes within it, I must address an important matter that could help millions suffering from the disabling effects of schizophrenia. It’s crucial that we get this right: what does it mean to be "a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ"? Are Jesus and Christ the same? The answer is no; they are not the same.

"a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ."

This distinction can be complex but consider the world today: Jesus Christ is accepted by millions. So, where is the persecution that one must endure for holding the truth? We must remember that every one of the Apostles was martyred by men who Jesus stated where offsprings of the Viper. All of them martyred, with the exception of John, who was thrown into a cauldron of boiling oil but miraculously escaped, living to an elderly age.

Here’s what I can share: Yes, Jesus was the Messiah. Yes, Jesus had the Spirit of Christ dwelling within Him, just like all the other prophets did. (1 Peter 1:11) They each possessed "the same" spirit. Jesus's role as the Messiah was to teach us how to be free from the captivity of Sin. I've stated before that I will never take anything away from Jesus. We were meant to view Him as God—that was His mission. He was to die as God, much like how the Ark was regarded as God. But was it God? No, it wasn’t. Neither was Jesus.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bear a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he shall make his people safe from their sins.

John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.”

Colossians 1:19 “For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him.”

John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

1 Samuel 4:3-8 ...Let us bring the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Shiloh, so that he may go with us and save us from the hand of our enemies.”... they brought back the ark of the covenant of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned between the cherubim... The Philistines were afraid. “A god has come into the camp,” they said. “Oh no! Nothing like this has happened before. We’re doomed! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? They are the gods who struck the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues in the wilderness.

So why did the Spirit, through the hands of humans, create a "tangible" image of Himself? Why present a story we can see in real life—a gold-covered wooden box with two cherubim on top—that performed miracles as God? Why did he perform miracles through a human for us to see as God? He did that so that when the Ark was captured in 1 Samuel 4, we would recognize that "God" was captured. Similarly, when we witnessed Jesus being murdered by Sin, we would recognize that God was murdered by Sin.

There is a language we are not addressing in our religious organizations—it's Christ's language, and it is subliminal. Christ is Illuminati. He illuminates all men. John states in Revelation 11:19 that the Ark will be seen again after the second coming of Christ. I am trying to show you THE ARK. The same Ark that saved Noah. The Ark, that is CHRIST.

Exodus 25:20-22 The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover. Place the cover on top of the ark and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law that I will give you. There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.

Joshua 3:11-17 See, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth will go into the Jordan ahead of you... And as soon as the priests who carry the ark of the Lord—the Lord of all the earth—set foot in the Jordan, its waters flowing downstream will be cut off and stand up in a heap... as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge,  the water from upstream stopped flowing. It piled up in a heap a great distance away... So the people crossed over opposite Jericho. The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stopped in the middle of the Jordan and stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.

Revelation 11:19  And the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of his testament was seen in his temple; and lightnings were made, and voices, and thunders, and earth-moving, and great hail. WYC 1382

Revelation 11:19  Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm. NIV 2011

Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

When the Israelites were held in captivity by the Egyptians, God proclaimed, “Let my son go." Then again proclaimed, "Let my people go.” This demonstrated His subliminal language. Collectively the Son lives in all of us. Everything we understand about Jesus reflects what we were meant to perceive for His age, and now the New Age has arrived. This concept should not be difficult to grasp.

Exodus 4:22-23 “Then say to Pharaoh, ‘This is what the Lord says: Israel is my firstborn son, and I told you, “Let my son go, so he may worship me.” But you refused to let him go; therefore I will kill your firstborn son.’”

Exodus 5:1  “Afterward, Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.’”

Matthew 12:32 ...in the age to come.”

Ephesians 1:21 ...not only in the present age but also in the one to come.”

Hebrews 6:5 ...of the coming age.”

Before Jesus, salvation was attained through alternative means. Jesus came and changed everything; there was no longer a need for sacrifices for Sin—He became the ultimate sacrifice. His message taught us how to live as godly men and women, creating the humble ones who now sit in Moses' seat: the Christians.

Hebrews 10:1-4 The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins. It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Galatians 3:24  So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.

Romans 3:20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

1 Peter 3:18  For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

Titus 2:11-12 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.

Luke 14:11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

However, it’s important to note that Jesus was a prophet; He was not God. He was destined to die as a subliminal representation of God, much like the Ark of the Covenant, which also served as a subliminal image of God. The Israelites held in captivity collectively represented a singular God, a Son. This is subliminal because the "Son" that Pharaoh was to release was actually the Father—God who spoke to Moses. All are one singular spirit: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—one singular Spirit.

Additionally, Numbers 1:46 records that the number of Israelite men over the age of 20 at the time of the census conducted in the wilderness after the Exodus was 603,550. This does not include women and children, suggesting that the total number of Israelites that Christ lived in could have ranged from 2 to 3 million during the Exodus.

Now, what did Jesus say? The man who was fully possessed by the Spirit of Christ? What did he say? He said, “I will send a messenger in my name: Jesus.” Who is this messenger? The messenger is the Holy Spirit. So, the same Father who is also the Son that spoke to Moses would now become the Messenger—the Holy Spirit—and He will now take on the name of Jesus. But was it Jesus? No, it has been and always will be Christ. How do I know this? Schizophrenia is how I know this.

John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Acts 9:4-5 He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?’ ‘Who are you, Lord?’ Saul asked. ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied.

Those who wrote the New Testament did not have complete knowledge, as it was designed that way by the Spirit of Christ. He needed to raise His church of godly men and women, so the writers of that past age recognized Jesus as the Christ in their time. Again, that is what Christ needed us to see. Just as we needed to understand that God was captured in 1 Samuel 4, WAKE UP, CHRISTIANS! You already know this about the Ark. YOU KNOW THIS ABOUT THE ARK. I truly do say this out of love. Love for the truth.

Revelation 3:1-2 To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.

What many are missing is that while these teachings are about acknowledging Jesus' role, they do not delve deeper into the nature of the Spirit—the Spirit of Christ. They teach that Jesus is from God, but they often miss the point that the Spirit of Christ, who indwelled Jesus, is the same Spirit that has existed throughout time. This Spirit took on the form of Jesus for a time, but the Spirit is eternal and carries the message of God beyond the physical incarnation of Jesus.

This is where the deeper truth lies: it’s not just about Jesus as a man or even solely as the Messiah, but about the Spirit that has lived within us throughout history, and still moves through us today. The same Spirit who spoke THROUGH/INDWELLED the prophets, who also dwelled in Jesus as well, continues to dwell in all living creatures. CHRIST NEVER LEFT US.

We all know God never really sat on that Ark because His dwelling is inside of our flesh, just as He dwelled in Jesus. It was all a staging process, just as He staged it in John 1:1-9. He gives us human, tangible messages to help us understand the spiritual ones. YOU ALREADY KNOW THIS!

1 Corinthians 13:9-12 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

1 Samuel 4:10-11 So the Philistines fought, and the Israelites were defeated and every man fled to his tent. The slaughter was very great; Israel lost thirty thousand foot soldiers. The Ark of God was captured, and Eli’s two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, died.

1 Samuel 4:21-22 She named the boy Ichabod, saying, ‘The Glory has departed from Israel’—because of the capture of the Ark of God and the deaths of her father-in-law and her husband. She said, ‘The Glory has departed from Israel, for the Ark of God has been captured.’

John 1:1-9 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Now, how do I know that Christ took on Jesus' name? Because I have experienced something similar to Paul when the Spirit said, “I am Jesus.” The Bible tells us that any spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God (1 John 4:2). This can get tricky, as someone might claim that I am denying Jesus is from God, but that’s not true. God most definitely sent Jesus to be our Messiah—He had a high calling upon him. What the congregations today don't fully understand is the kind of Spirit the Bible is referring to in this passage:

John 1:2-4 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,  but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

The typical understanding of this passage of the Bible is that it emphasizes the importance of spiritual discernment, particularly in recognizing teachings from our leaders that either affirm or deny the truth about Jesus' incarnation. Stating that the Spirit of God always affirms Christ, which I will remind you, I affirm CHRIST, while the spirit of the antichrist denies or distorts this truth serving as a warning against false teachings. But that is not at all the truth. That is not what this portion of Scripture is about.

There are millions of people in our world today who are hearing the audible voices of actual spirits. Invisible ones and are being wrongfully diagnosed with schizophrenia and many other mental illnesses. These individuals often tell their psychologist that demons and angles are speaking to them or have possessed them. Some of these Psychologist are also believers in God and the Bible and yet still miss this. Spirits really are talking to these patients.

I once asked a Catholic preacher about demonic possession and he stated, "We don't do exorcisms anymore." This confused me as I was certain that Catholics were the ones who performed exorcisms. A quick Google search confirms that

they do. So, I asked him if demons still possessed people, and he told me there were not any new cases. This shocked me. I then asked my final question, "Did the demons just wake up one day a decide that they were going to stop possessing people?" His final response was, "That's a really good question, I'll have to think on that." WOW!

What would it look like if someone was possessed by demons today in our world? You can't answer that question, I know you can't, because you don't know the truth. However, possession is often identified by those who claim to be possessed, adamantly asserting that demons or angels are speaking to them. When they seek help, they're often not believed—by anyone, including Christians and Christian psychologists. Instead of addressing the spiritual reality, they are prescribed psychotropic medications for their demons, ignoring the truth. They don't need the pharmakiea, they need the TRUTH.

Many of them are described as having grandiose delusions with religious content, despite having little to no knowledge of Scripture. They may believe they are Jesus, the Messiah, or hold a variety of other complex beliefs. I understand what is happening here because I have experienced it myself and have come through it.

A spirit will speak to these spiritually gifted people in our world—those once called seers and hearers in the Bible—and may even mention the name of Jesus. However, because we lack the knowledge to properly discern and use the spiritual gift of prophecy that has been given to us, another spirit will step in and distort everything. This is why 1 John 4:1, urges us to test the spirits. But how do we do that in 2024 when spiritual encounters are often dismissed as mental health issues, leading to prescriptions instead of Scripture?

1 Samuel 9:9 Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.

Revelation 3:20 Lo! I stand at the door, and knock; if any man heareth my voice, and openeth the gate to me, I shall enter to him, and sup with him, and he with me. WYC 1382

How do we teach people to test these spirits when even Christians don’t believe their experiences? 1 John 4 isn’t talking about pastors delivering sermons or teaching Sunday school classes. It is referring to the invisible spirits that walk our earth and those that dwell within our very bodies. These are the same spirits John saw his Rabbi, our Messiah, cast out of people suffering from mental torment—and yet, we no longer preach this truth.

When Jesus taught and healed, He confronted spiritual forces directly. That was central to His message. But today, we are not truly following in His footsteps—not at all, we no longer recognize what possession or prophecy is.

You see, I heard a voice call my name. I mention these things often and you can understand this better by watching the introductory video for my ministry.

I then heard the voice scream Matthew, Mark, Luke and john. To a psychologist his would be schizophrenia, with grandiose religious content, had I sought help through that route. I did however seek help through my Pastor first, 3 years ago, and numerous other congregations,. As it stands to this day, each one rebukes my teaching and advises me to seek medical help. WOW! You know they thought Jesus was insane too. Kinda ironic, don't you think?

Mark 3:21 And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, 'He is out of his mind.

John 10:20 Many of them said, 'He has a demon, and is insane; why listen to him?

I heard an invisible voice claim the name of Jesus too. Then it was twisted, and I was told that I was Jesus. I argued with the voices, "I am not Jesus because I am a woman." Schizophrenia, right? This made it difficult to believe that any of the voices that were speaking to me where Jesus. A spirit then told me he was God and instructed me to put a bullet in my sleeping boyfriend's head. You can learn more about my story throughout my website.

As a Christian, you're thinking that was not God. And at the time I agreed with your thought process. It came to me again and said, "Put a bullet in your head." It was in fact God though, only not the God we know of. This God who instructed me to murder is the same God who told Abraham to go into the land of "vision" to murder Issacc. This is psychosis. Go into the land of psychosis. This is the murder from the beginning the same murder who came to Jesus and said "THROW YOURSELF DOWN." This God is Sin.

Genesis 22:1-2 And after that these things were done, God assayed Abraham, and said to him, Abraham! Abraham! He answered, I am present (I am here). God said to him, Take thine one begotten son, whom thou lovest, Isaac; and go into the land of vision, and offer thou him there into burnt sacrifice on one of the hills which I shall show to thee. WYC 1382

So, as you can see, Christ claiming to be Jesus—just as He did with Paul—was not something I that was going to work with me. I was never going to believe the voices speaking to me were Jesus, or even God. Never, not after what I was told to do by a voice claiming to be God. I knew the Bible, and the experience I was having at the time didn’t align with what I had learned from Scripture—or so I thought. The truth wasn’t taught to me, because it is in the Bible.

So, for me, Christ told me he was Patrick O'neill, my Pastor, and that we were in telepathic communication. This is a hallmark symptom of schizophrenia. Did you know that many people who have died and been brought back to life often claim that during their near-death experience, God communicated with them telepathically?

As time passed by, the voice that had taken on the role and exact replicated voice of my pastor told me he was God. So, I then asked. "What, Pat, your God?" It was far easier for me to believe Patrick was God and that he was talking to me through telepathy, than to believe Jesus or any other God was, because God had just told me to murder someone and then told me to murder myself. I trusted Pat, and Christ knew that.

God was not working for his people, because God instructed Abraham to murder Issacc. God instructed those in Deuteronomy 13 to murder Jesus. Watch the introductory video: I break this down in way that you will not be able to rebuke my logic. God was not a name Christ could use, so He took on the name of Jesus, so that His people would know which voice, which spirit to trust. TEST THE SPRITS.
