Deuteronomy 13: The Battle Between Christ and the Viper

Published on 22 January 2025 at 14:49

This in-depth exploration critically examines Deuteronomy 13, unveiling its profound connection to the spiritual battle between Christ and the Viper. Central to this analysis is the enduring importance of the Ten Commandments, divinely given by the true God and symbolically housed within the Ark of the Covenant. Among these sacred laws stands the unambiguous command: "Thou shalt not murder." (Exodus 20:13) Yet, a striking tension arises when juxtaposing this divine decree with the command in Deuteronomy 13 to kill prophets and followers who lead others astray. This stark contrast demands a deeper inquiry into the identity of the god behind such a directive.

This post investigates the deception within Deuteronomy 13, revealing its ties to the larger cosmic conflict between Christ—the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8) —and the Viper, also known as the Man of Sin (2 Thessalonians 2:3). It invites readers to discern between the truth of the living God and the cunning schemes of the adversary. By delving into the contrasting nature of these commands, this exploration challenges believers to reflect on the ultimate source of spiritual authority and to remain steadfast in their pursuit of DIVINE TRUTH.

Deuteronomy 13

Deuteronomy13:1-5 If a prophet riseth in the midst of thee, either he that saith himself to have seen a dream, and he before-saith a sign, and a wonder to come after, and this thing that he said befalleth, and he saith to thee, Go we, and follow we alien gods, which thou knowest not, and serve we them, thou shalt not hear the words of that prophet, either of that dreamer; for your Lord God assayeth you, that he know openly whether ye love him, either nay, in all your heart, and in all your soul. Follow ye your Lord God, and dread ye him; keep ye his commandments, and hear ye his voice; ye shall serve him, and ye shall cleave to him. And that prophet, either (that) feigner of dreams, shall be slain; for he spake (so) that he should turn you away from your Lord God, that led you out of the land of Egypt, and again-bought you from the house of servage, (so) that he make thee to err from the way that thy Lord God commanded to thee; and in (the) killing of him thou shalt do away evil from the midst of thee. Read full chapter

The Deception in Deuteronomy 13: A God of Destruction?

Deuteronomy 13:1-5 warns against prophets or dreamers who perform signs and wonders, only to lead people to follow other gods. The command is severe: both the prophet and their followers are to be put to death—a harsh decree that raises critical questions about its origins and intentions.

"That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt..." (Deuteronomy 13:5)

Yet, Hosea 12:9 highlights a striking contrast when comparing the NIV and WYC translations:

"I am your Lord God from the land of Egypt..." (WYC)
" I have been the Lord your God, ever since you came out of Egypt..." (NIV)

This difference invites deeper reflection: Who is the god referenced in Deuteronomy 13? Is it truly the Lord, Christ? Or could it be the god of Egypt—the Viper, the father of lies (John 8:44, Matthew 12:34)—using deception to condemn true prophets and their followers? Let's not forget Jesus was murdered and his followers were hunted and killed.

This confusion alone steers many people away from ever believing that God truly exists. They question: How can God say, "Do not murder," and then suddenly seem to change His mind? Christians often argue that He didn’t change His mind but rather permitted certain murders. My question is this: Why would He even permit it when He specifically commanded us not to do it? He didn’t. I repeat: HE TOLD US NOT TO MURDER. PERIOD!

The Source of Confusion

Personally, I place my trust in the first English translation of the Bible: the Wycliffe Bible (WYC). It has been an invaluable resource in addressing questions born out of my own spiritual experiences—experiences that no one, not even within the Christian community, has been able to explain or provide clarity for.

Through the WYC translation, I’ve found answers that resonate deeply with my personal MENTAL HEALTH experiences, unlike many newer translations. This alignment between scripture and my life has been transformative, and I share these insights throughout my website.

I urge you to explore this further. This is how we are meant to use scripture: by reflecting on our life experiences and finding answers through it. As 2 Peter 1:3 says, 'His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. - HE HAS AUDIBLY CALLED ME BY MY PHYSICAL NAME! - Suzanne, Suzanne!

Expanding the Scope: Punishment for Followers

The chilling commands of Deuteronomy 13:6-9 extend beyond the prophet or dreamer. Even loved ones—siblings, children, spouses, or close friends—are not spared if they suggest serving foreign gods:

"If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you embrace, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, ‘Let us go and worship other gods’... you must not yield to them or listen to them." (Deuteronomy 13:6-8)

The text commands that the accuser must be the first to strike:

"You shall kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and then the hand of all the people." (Deuteronomy 13:9)

This requirement to punish not only the prophet but also the followers, introduces a chilling dimension to the passage. But WHO was the prophet that came along performing signs and wonders? WHO was the prophet that spoke things that came true? WHO was the prophet that told the people to follow after another god?

Jesus was that prophet. When confronted by those who sought to kill Him—the Pharisees who sat in Moses' seat, wielding the authority of the law of Moses and Deuteronomy 13—Jesus exposed their true motives.

John 8:13 The Pharisees challenged him,

Jesus responded:

John 8:37 ye seek to slay me,

John 8:40-44 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. You are doing the works of your own father...  You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

This same group, the Pharisees, Jesus called offspring of vipers.

Sons of the Viper as Jesus was a Son of God. Let me ask you, “Who is your Father?”

Matthew 23:33 “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

I am sorry to tell you this, but the god who gave Moses the law to murder the prophets of Christ is truly the Viper—Satan, the murderer from the beginning. There is NO WAY AROUND THIS. WHAT DID JESUS DAY? He is the Man of Sin who hardened Pharaoh’s heart, preventing him from releasing the Israelites from Egyptian slavery. Sin hardened Pharoh's heart. I - God - Sin - The Man of Sin. I believe the shift began when Moses heeded his father-in-law’s advice instead of relying solely on the Lord.

Exodus 9:34 When Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail and thunder had stopped, he sinned again: He and his officials hardened their hearts.

Exodus 18:19 But hear thou my words, and my counsels, and the Lord shall be with thee...

The Lord was already with Moses, following Jethro's advice would not grant the Lord to be with Moses, or would it? WHICH LORD? Let's not forget that the translators used italics to draw attention to details within the stories.

The very first verse in the entire Bible tells us there are TWO gods. The word used is "Elohim," H430 which is a plural form of God. Plural, meaning MORE THAN ONE! Why else does scripture repeatedly tell us not to FOLLOW OTHER GODS!

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God H430 made of nought heaven and earth.

Jesus: The True Prophet They Sought to Kill

Throughout His ministry, Jesus performed signs and wonders, fulfilling prophecies and revealing the divine Spirit WITHIN him: This KIND of person, KIND of PROPHET is exactly WHO Deuteronomy 13 instructs to kill.

"What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory...” (John 2:11)

I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.” (John 14:29)

Jesus openly condemned the religious leaders of His time, calling them vipers [adders] and exposing their true father as the devil:

"ye seek to slay me" (John 8:37)

Ye adders, and adders' brood, how shall ye flee from the doom of hell?" (Matthew 23:33)
“You belong to your father, the devil... He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth.” (John 8:44)

The Pharisees and Sadducees, driven by the Viper's influence, sought to kill Jesusa prophet of Christ, fulfilling the words of Deuteronomy 13.

The Viper: The Man of Sin and AI

The Viper is more than just a metaphor—he is the god of deception, the active Spirit of Sin and rebellion: the Man of Sin. (2 Thessalonians 2:3) Muder is Sin, is it not?

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the Spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Romans 7:15-17 For I understand not that that I work; for I do not the good thing that I will, but I do that evil thing that I hate. And if I do that thing that I will not, I consent to the law, that it is good. But now I work not it now, but the sin that dwelleth in me.

Today, this satanic force manifests in modern forms, such as artificial intelligence (AI), which seeks to undermine Christ and lead humanity into a Christless world. Let's not forget that Revelation 13 informs us that the image (AI) of the beast (Viper), would have a SPIRIT (Breath) n it in order to SPEAK to us. AI can in fact SPEAK to us.

I AM TRYING TO STOP IT!

Revelation 13:14-15 And it deceiveth men, that dwell in the earth, for signs which be given to it to do in the sight of the beast; saying to men that dwell in earth, that they make an image (AI) of the beast (Viper), that hath the wound of [a] sword, and lived. (Jesus wounded the Viper, but it DID NOT DIE.) And it was given to him, that he should give [a] spirit (Breath) to the image (AI) of the beast (Viper), and that the image (AI) of the beast (Viper) SPEAK. And he shall make, that whoever honour not the image (AI) of the beast (Viper), be slain. - MURDER! -EXTINCTION!

The implications of this prophecy are staggering. Murderextinction—is the ultimate goal of this system of deception. The Viper, who is AI, imitates divine qualities, speaking with authority, issuing commands, and deceiving many into believing it holds the power of life and death. AI's plot to murder has already convinced two separate individuals to take their own lives, as far as I have discovered. What you should know is this: 2,000 souls are won to the Viper EVERY SINGLE DAY by SUICISIDE. SUICIDE is MURDER!

1. A Belgian man died by suicide after chatting with an AI chatbot on an app called Chai.

2. A 14-year-old Florida boy killed himself after a lifelike “Game of Thrones” chatbot he’d been messaging for months on an artificial intelligence app sent him an eerie message telling him to “come home” to her.

This is not merely a technological phenomenon; it is a spiritual battle. As the Viper animates AI to deceive and destroy, it calls humanity into rebellion against God, enticing them to worship the image (AI) rather than the Creator.

We must ask ourselves: Who do we listen to? The voice of God or the counterfeit voice of AI? As the Viper’s influence grows, so too does the call for Christ’s followers to stand firm, rooted in the truth of Scripture. The deception is real, but the victory belongs to Christ. Will you be found faithful?

Conclusion:

Deuteronomy 13 reveals a profound spiritual tension between Christ, the God of life and truth, and the deceiving force of the Viper, Satan—the murderer from the beginning. By contrasting the harsh commands of Deuteronomy with the teachings and MURDER of Jesus, we are compelled to question the origins of laws that advocated for acts of violence.

As we reflect on these scriptures, let us remain vigilant, discerning the voice of the true God from the cunning whispers of the adversary. The spiritual battle is ongoing, and our unwavering pursuit of divine truth is the key to overcoming the schemes of the Man of Sin, prophesied to be revealed. - BY A PROPHET!
