Matthew 4:1-11

NIV 2011:

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’" Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” 10  Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” 11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

WYC 1382:

1 Then Jesus was led of a Spirit into desert, to be tempted of the fiend. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward he hungered. And the tempter came nigh, and said to him, If thou be God's Son, say that these stones be made loaves. Which answered, and said to him, It is written, Not only in bread liveth man, but in each word that cometh forth of God's mouth. Then the fiend took him into the holy city, and setted him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6 and said to him, If thou art God's Son, send thee adown; for it is written, That to his angels he commanded of thee, and they shall take thee in [the] hands, lest peradventure thou hurt thy foot at a stone. Again Jesus said to him, It is written, Thou shalt not tempt thy Lord God. Again the fiend took him [up] into a full high hill, and showed to him all the realms of the world, and the joy of them; and said to him, All these I shall give to thee, if thou fall down and worship me. 10 Then Jesus said to him, Go, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship thy Lord God, and to him alone thou shalt serve. 11 Then the fiend left him; and lo! angels came nigh, and served to him.

Rethinking the Spirit's Role in Jesus' Journey:

I’ve mentioned a few times in my work: "I grew up with a basic understanding of Christianity." I once believed in the core doctrines commonly discussed within our faith. However, that all changed when I experienced a journey similar to what’s described in Matthew 4. I now understand what truly happened to Jesus in this story.

In the basic understanding of Christianity, the phrase "Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness" is often interpreted to mean that Jesus’ journey was part of God’s divine plan. This teaching suggests that the Holy Spirit, which descended upon Jesus at his baptism (Matthew 3:16-17), guided him into this time of testing, emphasizing Jesus' submission to the will of the Father and sets a precedent for his obedience throughout his ministry.

In Christianity, Jesus is also understood to be both fully God and fully human. This belief is central to the doctrine of the Trinity, which holds that God exists as three persons in one essence: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. If he was indeed God, why would the Holy Spirit need to descend upon him? Why would a spirit guide him, like it does for the rest of us, if he was truly God?

The point I’m trying to make is that if Jesus was the Son of God, He would have been born as God. There would have been no need for the Holy Spirit—who is also the Father and Christ—to descend upon Him. As I discussed in the previous section, "Matthew 3:7-17: The Transfiguration and the Revelation of Christ," this raises important questions.

Beyond Blasphemy: A Call to Explore Prophetic Truths:

Delivering this message may be one of the most challenging tasks of all the prophets, especially given the presence of so much false doctrine in our world—around 45,000 different interpretations—and issues with altered Bible texts. In the previoscius section, I confirmed through Strong's Concordance that the word snakesH5175: נָחָשׁ (nachash): or serpent: can also symbolize wisdom and prophecyThis symbolism of a "spiritual serpent" is also a spirit of prophecy, it symbolizes the Egyptian Seraphim. "A Spirit of "a creature" that dives a wheel". Exactly the same, only on opposing teams as "The Spirit of the "living creatures" that drives the wheels." Ezekeil chapter 1-10

Revelation 19:10

NIV 2011

...For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”

WYC 1382

...For the witnessing of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

KLV 1987

...for the testimony G3141 of Jesus is the spirit G4151 of prophecy. G4394

Testimony  G3141 : The testimony of individuals regarding their faith and experiences. The witness of God about Jesus Christ and His works. The evidence or proof that supports the truth of the Christian message.

Spirit G4151: Broadly signifies "breath," "wind," or "air." It represents the inner self, including a person's emotions, thoughts, and consciousness. Additionally, it describes spiritual life, inspiration, and divine influence, and it empowers, guides, and comforts believers.

Prophecy G4394: The declaration of a message from God, often concerning future events or divine will. It encompasses the act of speaking forth God's message and the spiritual gift that enables believers to receive and convey divine revelations.

If this is your first time reading my work, please take the time to explore further before dismissing my views as blasphemous. I provide ample evidence throughout my works, found within the blue links, allowing you to verify my claims. I reference thesis papers, scientific articles, the WYC 1382 translation—which conveys a significantly different message than modern texts—and I include Strong's Concordance links for your confirmation.

A Spirit of Prophecy: Jesus, Isolation, and Symbolism in Scripture

The Spirit who led Jesus into the wilderness is not be the Holy Spirit as we have been traditionally taught. In Matthew 4:1, there’s a distinction between the NIV 2011, which states "the Spirit," and the WYC 1382, which says "a spirit." So far, its inconclusive. So, we gather information from Strongs. (You can see I am doing this the right way.)

In the biblical context, "Spirit" (Greek: **πνεῦμα**, transliterated as *pneuma*, G4151) refers to several key concepts:

General Meaning: The term broadly signifies "breath" or "wind," and it can refer to the vital principle or force that gives life.

Holy Spirit: In Christian theology, "pneuma" is often used to denote the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who empowers believers, guides, comforts, and convicts of sin.

Human Spirit: It can also refer to the human spirit or soul, representing a person's inner self, emotions, thoughts, and consciousness. (KEY THEMES IN MY MINISTRY.)

Spiritual Beings: The term may denote spiritual beings or entities, including angels or demonic forces, depending on the context.

Who or what exactly this spirit is remains inconclusive, as Spirit G4151 encompasses a range of meanings. It's important to note that the word snakes H5175: נָחָשׁ (nachash): or serpent: can also symbolize wisdom and prophecy. I aim to demonstrate how we are dealing with a Spirit G4151 of prophecy that exhibits inconclusive personality traits.

Let’s return to the stories found in Scripture. I have discovered that Christ's language is both subliminal and symbolic. Most answers can be found within the stories themselves, as the finger of Satan can and has, change and or remove words, but cannot erase entire stories. So, let us consider: Are there other accounts of individuals being "led up G321 " into isolation by a Spirit G4151? Yes, in Mark 5 and Luke 8, we find the story of the demon-possessed man. But was Jesus' demon-possessed, or was he not?

In Matthew 4:1, "led up G321 refers to the act of leading up or bringing into a higher place. It can also imply navigating—launching out, setting sail, or putting to sea. In contrast, Luke 8:29 uses the term "driven G1643, which refers to being compelled by external forces, like the wind driving ships or clouds, or sailors propelling a vessel by oars, and even demons driving the men they possess to specific locations. This comparison suggests that the type of leading in both stories shares a similar nature.

NIV 2011

...he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.

WYC 1382

...he was led of the devil into desert.

KJV 1987

...was driven G1643 of G5259 the devil G1142 into G1519 the wilderness. G2048

What else do these stories have in common? Both involve experiences of isolation, encounters with formless audible spirits or voices, and elements of self-harm or attempted self-harm—hallmark symptoms of schizophrenia and psychosis. Science would support this observation.

Mark 5:5

NIV 2011

...cry out and cut himself with stones.

WYC 1382

...crying and beating himself with stones.

KJV 1987

...crying, and cutting G2629 himself with stones.

Matthew 4:6

If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:

Cutting G2629 Strong's (Greek: κατακόπτω, transliterated as katakoptō) means "to cut down" or "to cut through." It involves cutting or striking, either physically or metaphorically, often with the implication of severity or destruction.

Literal Meaning: It can refer to the act of cutting, slashing, or striking something with force, often implying destruction or severe damage.
Figurative Meaning: It may also carry a figurative sense, referring to being overwhelmed, broken down emotionally, or deeply afflicted.

Biblical Usage: In the New Testament, katakoptō can be used in the context of self-harm, as seen in passages where individuals cut themselves in despair or frenzy (e.g., demoniac possession).

When the Tempter Speaks: Understanding the Spirit of Prophecy

This Spirit G4151 is an audible "Word" of the Egyptian Seraphim. The Spirit G4151 of the creatures that drove the wheel of the man in Mark 5 and Luke 8. Legion/the Man of Sin. Suicide, self-harm, and attempted suicide are all Sin, and in both stories the devil is the one who led these men to isolation. It is a Spirit G4151 of prophecy: The snake H5175.

The "Word" of God came to me... and said..." Jeremiah 1:4

The Tempter came to "Jesus" and said..." Matthew 4:3

Luke 8:29

WYC 1382

...he was led of the devil into desert.

Matthew 4:1

NIV 2011

led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

If Jesus was truly the Son of God, why would the Father allow this to happen? Imagine you have a son, and you are all-knowing—you know everything that is about to unfold. Would you tell your son to go with someone (the Man of Sin) to be isolated and alone, fully aware of the temptation he would face? Picture this: he’s taken to the edge of a skyscraper and urged to jump, with the promise that he could fly. “Go ahead, my boy,” the tempter would say. Would you put your son in such a dangerous position just to see what he would do? To test him? What if he jumped? You would likely feel a sense of regret, wouldn’t you?

James 1:13: "When tempted, no one should say, 'God is tempting me.' For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone."

In the stories found in Mak 5 and Luke 8, the singular Spirit G4151 was a body of "many members". In Matthe 4:11 we see angels G32 attend to Jesus after this same Spirit G4151 that attacked the man in Mark 5 and Luke 8. These  angels G32 are the living creatures that make up the body of Christ. They are the THOTNS in Paul's flesh.

Mark 5:9  And Jesus asked him, What is thy name? And he saith to him, A legion is my name; for we be many

Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and behold, angels G32 came and ministered unto him.

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn G4647 in the flesh, G4561 the messenger G32 of Satan G4566 to buffet me, lest  I should be exalted above measure. KJV 1987

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest the greatness of revelations enhance me in pride, the prick of my flesh, an angel of Satan, is given to me, that he buffet me. WYC 1382

Angels G32: Angelos (Greek: **ἄγγελος**) is the Greek word for "angel," which means "messenger." It refers to beings created by God who serve as His messengers and agents.

Literal Meaning: The term translates directly to "messenger" and can apply to both divine and human messengers.
Biblical Usage: In the New Testament, *angelos* typically refers to heavenly beings who serve God, delivering messages, providing guidance, and executing His will.
Characteristics: Angels are often depicted as spiritual beings who can take on human form, possessing intelligence and free will. They are not to be worshiped but serve God and assist believers.
Examples in Scripture: Instances include Gabriel announcing the birth of Jesus (Luke 1:26-38) and angels ministering to Jesus after His temptation (Matthew 4:11).

Overall, *angelos* emphasizes the role of angels as messengers of God, conveying His will and purpose to humanity.
